Sam J. Kaufman began his career in the life insurance industry in 1968 and within five years formed Agent Support Services, Inc., a multi-life company agency.

Agent Support Services was one of the first multi-company life operations in the New York area to provide value-added, computerized sales presentations. The firm grew rapidly and soon became the leading agency with many of the companies it represented.

As a member of the Advisory board of several prominent insurers, Sam has played an important role in product development and marketing. He has spoken before the New York Chapter of CLU/ChFC and is a member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters.

Jay L. Scheiner, JD, CLU, has always considered himself the "insurance agent's agent," with precise product "fit" and complex underwriting as his strengths.

Jay opened Agent Support Group's Long Island office in 1993. As a leading brokerage manager for Phoenix Life in the infancy of survivor life, Jay gained invaluable large case experience that translated well when he opened Agent Support's Long Island agency in 1993.

As a CLU and a member of the Bar of New York and New Jersey, Jay is experienced in advanced sales techniques. He has served on the board of directors of the Nassau CLU/ChFC Society and Life Underwriters Assocation (as Legislative Chairman). He has lectured before insurance groups and has been published in national industry journals. Currently he serves on the General Agents Advisory Board of a major insurer.

Jay has performed singing the National Anthem with Sam Kaufman at the NAIFA Sales Congress for the past six years. He is involved in community service, teaching Seamanship courses for The United States Power Squadron. He holds a Master's License from the U.S. Coast Guard.

Gary Bleetstein began his career in the life insurance business in 1975 after graduating from American University. Gary is a third generation life insurance professional, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather who were legends at The Equitable.

Starting his career with The Equitable, Gary went on to learn what he knows best, the Brokerage Business at National Benefit Life, American Crown Life and over the last 15 years working with producers and advisors in New York City.

Gary specializes in providing extraordinary service with sophisticated case design, financial and medical underwriting and the jumbo marketplace.

He has served in many capacities on several carrier Advisory and Management committees, served on the board of directors at NAILBA, is active in AALU and is the 2007 Honoree for the NYC Life Insurance Division of the United Jewish Appeal.

Gary holds series 6, 63 and 24 licenses, is a Registered Principal, and resides with his family in Little Silver, New Jersey.
